TILLMAN: Dawn Patricia Tillman, 38, of Bonneau, SC, a Berkeley County Sheriff Deputy died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born December 30, 1968 in Charleston, SC she was the daughter of the late John R. “Skip” Tillman III, and Virginia “Tricia” Anderson. Dawn was a graduate of Lowcountry Academy and the SC Criminal Justice Academy, Columbia, SC. She was a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church.
She will be missed by her brother, John Roy Tillman IV, Kingsland, GA.; step-mother, Anna Watts Tillman, Charlotte, NC; step sister Leigh Watts Early and husband Rod, Charlotte, NC; step brother Randy Watts, St. Petersburg, FL; niece, Carolina Early; nephew, Kelly Early; maternal aunts: Edith McLemore and Juanita Anderson; paternal aunts and uncles: Donald and Elaine Tillman, Milton Tillman, Kathy Tillman, and Tommy and Bernice Walters.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Solomon Joseph and Edith Spring Anderson; paternal grandparents, Lt. John R. Tillman II and Mary Black Tillman; maternal uncles, Cameron McLemore and Solomon Anderson; paternal aunt Sandra Tillman and paternal uncle Fred Tillman.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00PM Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Crossroads Community Church, 505 Gahagan Road, Summerville, SC 29485. Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Church. Interment with full honors will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Charleston, SC.
